Trophy Reliefs Self-researched
Relief panels depicting captured arms, armor, and weapons, placed between the province personifications on the temple podium. These trophies symbolize Roman military might and include shields, axes, spears, armor, lances, flags, and a Dacian draco (dragon standard). Three trophy reliefs are displayed in the Capitoline Museums.
Province Personification Reliefs Self-researched
A series of marble relief panels depicting personifications of Roman provinces, originally decorating the temple's podium. Nineteen panels survive, showing allegorical female figures representing provinces of the empire alternating with military trophies. Sixteen province figures remain well preserved, now distributed among five collections in Rome and Naples including the Capitoline Museums and Palazzo Massimo alle Terme.
