Temple of Castor and Pollux Self-researched

An ancient temple originally built in gratitude for victory at the Battle of Lake Regillus (496 BC), where the divine twins Castor and Pollux were said to have appeared and fought alongside the Romans. Three elegant Corinthian columns remain standing, among the most iconic images of the Roman Forum. The temple served as a meeting place for the Roman Senate and as a depository for weights and measures.
