Circus of Maxentius Self-researched

Part of a complex built by Emperor Maxentius between the second and third miles of the Via Appia, including a palace and chariot racing track. Situated between the catacombs of San Sebastiano and the Tomb of Caecilia Metella, it is now part of the Appian Way Regional Park.
