Lorenzo di Lodovico di Guglielmo, known as Lorenzetto or Lorenzo Lotti, was an Italian Renaissance sculptor and architect in the circle of Raphael. He is best known for the Madonna del Sasso above Raphael's tomb in the Pantheon and the statue of Jonah in the Chigi Chapel at Santa Maria del Popolo, both commissioned by Raphael.

Madonna del Sasso Self-researched
A marble statue of the Virgin and Child placed above Raphael's tomb in the third aedicule. Named "Madonna of the Rock" because Mary rests one foot on a boulder. Lorenzetto, a pupil of Raphael, created the sculpture as a close replica of the Venus Felix in the Vatican Museum, modeling the drapery after a version of the Aphrodite of Melos.
