Italian Mannerist painter who later adopted the reformist naturalism of Girolamo Muziano. Active in Rome in the mid-16th century, he painted the altar painting of the Assumption of the Virgin in the Sforza Chapel at Santa Maria Maggiore, as well as frescoes in the Cesi Chapel.
