Andrea Orcagna

Andrea di Cione di Arcangelo, known as Orcagna, was an Italian painter, sculptor, and architect. He worked as a consultant at the Florence Cathedral and supervised construction of the façade at Orvieto Cathedral. His monumental marble tabernacle at Orsanmichele (1352–1359) was immediately praised.
